Kamloops Biathlon Club
The Kamloops Biathlon Club offers competitive and recreational biathlon programs and activities in the Kamloops region for ages 10 and up. Biathlon is an exciting Olympic sport that combines target shooting with physical activity. The combination of the demands of physical exertion with the precision and focus required for target shooting make biathlon an exciting sport for participants and spectators alike. The club offers programs year-round, combining target shooting with cross country skiing in the Winter, and with roller skiing, running, biking, and cross training in the Spring, Summer and Fall. The target shooting offered by the club involves .22 calibre biathlon rifles for high performance athletes ages 15 and up, and optical infrared sighting technology for U15 and recreational participants.
