Tickets are Now on Sale!
On August 20, 2022 from 12:00-11:00pm, the BC Wildlife Park and New Country 103.1 are hosting the 5th annual BC Wildlife Park fundraiser – an outdoor country music concert at the Wildlife Park! After a 2 year hiatus, we’re taking the event to a whole new level by having 5 Canadian country artists, featuring Chris Buck Band and Bobby Wills! Guests can expect incredible music, local food trucks, and beer gardens; and we hope to raise even more money for the BC Wildlife Park with a 50/50 raffle.
This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. This year all net proceeds will assist us in completing aquatic animal rehabilitation pens. As the only full-service wildlife rehabilitation center within the Southern Interior, we received over 500 wild animals last year. These pens will be designed for multi-species rehabilitation and will have 4 separate holding areas and ponds. Every animal from ducks and geese, to muskrats and beavers, have different rehabilitation requirements, and a well-constructed holding area is integral to their care. These rehab pens, in conjunction with our unparalleled and accredited care, will give aquatic animals the absolute best chance at being released back into the wild. The estimated cost of this project is $120,000, and what better way to kick things off, than with a Wild Country Concert and Fundraiser!
